Thyon 2000, ski station in Sion area (VS), locator JN36QE. altitude 2085mt. Tranceiver Yaesu FT-897 - 144Mhz  X-Quad 12 3 elements and telescopic mast. New portable QTH for me, once again located not too far away from my QRA, workable direction are north-est / north / north-west and south-est.

This day was to get more informations about this place, unfortunately it was no propagation plan today, so I can't expect too many QSO, will see !.  I also plan to setup my portable dipole, to be QRV on the 6M band. No special problem to install my mobile shack, and both antennas are setup in a short time. The portable dipole for 6M is really easy to install and to adjust, and i get without problem a good SWR on the whole usable portion of the band. Unfortunately, no openning on 6M today, so just do somes test to help friends to adjust new antenna on this band. also QSO with HB9ADJ in Bussingy and HB9DRY in Bex.

Regarding QSO on 2M band, humm not a lot (a bad day...) somes QSO with italian stations and of course the usual actives HB OM's. No german and french station today. By the way as usual here in swiss Alpes ... a wonderfull day and nice wheater, sunny and 17 deg. See pictures. ( click on pictures to get bigger )
